Baby back ribs, bacon, green bean casserole, hamburger patties, and gravy? All by the dumpster? Mmm. Appetizing. Honestly, it amazes me how a management could even think about serving food that has been in warm temperatures for quite some time. The fact that the employee was willing to risk his job to expose the “dirty” little secret that the restaurant hid made me wonder if people will still eat there after watching the video. Also, and if there are any other employees that work in the food industry who happens to be in the same situation? Disturbing and disgusting would be the right words to describe this madness. The funny thing is that there was a health inspection going on during the same time that the video was made. So in order to prevent a low score in grading health, just place the RAW meat and leftovers outside in the humid weather, which increases the risk of food borne illnesses? How ironic. Sure it was good that the company fired the manager of that restaurant; but what about all of the other managers at the other Golden Corral joints? Or, as a matter of fact, ALL restaurants in general? Maybe it is best if the health inspection include every square inch, if not already, inside the building AND outside on the property, especially the dumpster area. I praise this employee and his bravery for exposing the truth, especially the type of truth in which no one would really expect. In my opinion, there should be more people like him; our safety and well-being relies on it. It is better to prevent something from happening when warned about it than to experience it.
